Hi David, It's not that difficult to remove the seats. I think that there are 6 bolts to each seat. You can leave the wooden blocks in situ.



You have to disconnect the handbrake to get to the gearlever bolt. You don't have to disconnect the cable nor the switch.



As for the poly bushes, you can by them at a dealer or order them online.



I do hope you can solve the problem. Just take your time, don't rush it.
