It is possible to opt for lockable storage on CX cars,( at a price!)situated below the rear shelf in the vertical panel between the floor and shelf. I moved the carpet on the Plus Four and see there is a panel there. A quick look only but it seemed screwed and stuck on. I am interested in using the space to store the jack, spanner, goo etc that came in nice leather bags. I am looking to have a quick release panel accessible by lifting the carpet, not necessarily cutting the carpet for access.
Has anyone done a diy conversion? I imagine a shelf might be needed inside but nothing much more.
