I need to replace the spark plugs on my 2020 GDi (the front one is badly corroded around the ceramic). The car is currenly fitted with Ford CYFS12Y1 (original fitment), however they are not that easy to find (no doubt due to the engine being for the US market). I have been offered NGK LTR6DI-8 as an alternative - does anyone know if these will be OK or can recommend anything else?
The NGK LTR6DI-8 also known by code 96588 is described as a laser iridium plug suitable for Ford Focus ST250 and Focus RS 2.3. They are pre-gapped at 0.8mm with NGK heat rating of 6.
