I've just tried (unsuccessfully) to look at Gomog, because I recall reading somewhere about the different fueling maps used on the V8s. Despite what we might expect, I'm sure that it said that the Morgan map was specific to the Plus 8 and different from the other applications.
The only reason that I thought that the article may help is because it suggests that a chip designed for one application may not suit another.
Having said that I have no experience of the later EFI, although I'm sure that there will be plenty of others who have.
