It was suggested to me, by someone in the insurance industry, that the primary reason for increases in Range Rover / Land Rover premiums is the rapid rise in theft to order due to JLR stopping sales to Russia. The vast majority are being taken by professional gangs and shipped outside the UK to 'customers' unable to purchase them direct.
