Used to have this issue all the time when writing reports for multi-national clients.. American English for America and Canada and English for the UK and Europe.. Now my mind just mixs both variations together !
Yes. It is annoying to Canadians as well because Canadian English is not like the American variant either. Sadly the British and Americans firmly believe it is the same as American. (shrug) I read the French translation.
