I think you could be right Jon but nothing much came into the aero with a flat underneath allthough the cabin was much more like a cockpit and very snug. If you drive top down all the time as we do it spoil's a bit of the driving experience in what is otherwise a fantastic drivers car. I remember once changing the tyres on our Mondeo estate and the newer cheaper brand threw up much more drizzle over the back, something only a sale's rep doing big mileage would pick up but it's a fact.
