So I got started looking into this this AM and my bleed valve is located under the oil cooler in front, not under the oil tank.
This pic shows where it's located. The braided hose leading into it is labeled properly as clutch.

Did a short flush to see what the fluid looked like. It is dark and looks like the "dirt" may be pulverized black seal material, but IF it is, it's very finely ground up. NO visible particles in the brake fluid, just dark as you can hopefully see in the photos. When I got back into the cockpit after my lovely wife assistant got out, the clutch felt firm like before, but the firmness wasn't from the start of depressing the pedal. It only firmed about 30% depressed. Feels like the clutch is releasing but I guess I need to take it down off the stands and see. If the master cylinder at the pedal box is not leaking visibly I am beginning to think this is the slave and I'm up for a long haul to resolve this. Any more advice would be warmly welcomed!
