Hi Calum
Thanks for your response, I was hoping you would take a look at it.
Are we the only ones with an Emerald ECU?

Yes you are right.
I looked already to some of the pages.
Additional Maps > Speed Limiter.
As far as I understand, here you can activate the speed-limiter-switch.
I understand, you can assign the Tab : "Use limiter switch to activate"
And give a value under speed-limit say : "10 MpH"

To assign a port for the speed limiter you can go to
ECU-configuration > "input-channel configuration"
And use the Tab at 'Speed Limit switch' to assign a port.
But I do not understand why I cannot assign an output channel.

I suppose you can assign one of those nice B-ports from the serial output to switch a 5 Volt relay.
On that relay - or maybe 2-relais - I suppose you can use the temperature signal output to get the Fan in a condition
Temp > 90 degr C ==> always on
Speed < 10 Mph ==> only when Temp > 90 degr C.

When this is correct - the input channel using as an output channel - I have to make a nice drawing to find out exactly how it works in theory.
And test it. The most difficult part.

But as written, that ECU problem is absolutely not a great issue.
I am so impressed with the results I have already with my new configuration: A reducing of the Temperature with nearly 50%.
To exact the temperatures S&S wants us to have.
For me only Temp is the main issue.
When I drive slowly and the Temp is > 90 degr C the Fan should go on and it does now.
When I drive slowly and the Temp is < 90 degr C it is not important.
As long as I can keep the Temp-values I have now I am super-pleased.

For me 'Parking'-timer is important too.
And I found more possibilities with the Emerald than I first thought. Interesting to test them too.
We have for weeks already horrible weather here in the Pyrenees, so time enough.

My first job now will be a smoke test - I made one myself - of the exhaust to find the a possible reason why the AFR at Starboard side is unstable.
When the exhaust is leaking before the sensor I have to weld the exhaust. Funny. At both sides we have damage at the exhaust where the suspension is.
And . . . find a Dyna service who do understand Emerald too.

Regards
