They look to be built into the hood frown

I agree on both counts thumbs. The Cobra whilst unusual has style and height and I was pleased to see reintroduced on latest CX Plus Fours with spare option. The CX ones built into base of hood whether single or double look to be tacky trailer items.

Both need an alternate when carrying a suitcase though. Mine is held by case straps and plugs directly into OE Econoseal connector keeping things simple.
