The MOA UK contingent used a shipping broker and the cars were transported in containers to Los Angeles port and took about 5 weeks, slight delay in the Panama Canal. When I brought my 4/4 from the UK it was shipped in a container to New Jersey (3 weeks), when I shipped my +8 to Europe for touring it went in a container from Bayport, Houston and took 4 weeks. Bringing the car into the US for touring purposes you need proof of entry and proof of return shipping (your broker does this) plus proof of insurance of vehicle whilst in the US that is it. As a visitor your UK drivers license is accepted for a maximum period of 3 months. Hope this helps?
