Oh, I almost wish you hadn't shown me that! I've always had a soft spot for Rileys and this one is lovely, if I had the money and somewhere to put it I'd be tempted.
However, putting my practical head on. The DVLA has it as first registered in 2001, which ties in with the description. The MOT shows expired in 2014, suggesting that it's not registered as "historic" and hasn't been on the road for ten years. I'm guessing it's also not eligible for the much coveted VSCC "buff form". In short, it is a beautiful "special", but a 25-year-old special, not a 90-year-old one.
Even so, a nice thing to have. They state the "exciting price point" is to entice a younger (presumably quite minted) enthusiast. I hope it does.
