Perhaps worth looking but there's been a change re. those contracted out as the advise was deemed to have been wrong and unsafe and therefore reversals have been made and as far as I believe they have had to rectify it to the position that you would have been had you not been advised to opt out. I have a national health and military pensions and a private one. We were advised to opt out by the NHS but my financial adviser told me no way to do that. My wife still works for the NHS and those advised wrongly have been reinstated and made good as though they hadn't ever left. It was a government directive.
