wel the sound is muted by the exhaust-fumes going back to the turbo
you can make it a bit louder, almost never any 'better sounding'
I payed a lot of money on an Akrapovic on my 1Mcoupé and it sounded worse, louder but worse
on my 2022 PlusFour I have the sport exhaust and that creates those horrible pops&bangs sick

I placed inox exhaust on a 3litr V6 roadster: that was amazing, 100x better than OEM!!
broke the exhaust on one side of my M3W: deafening :lolz:
