+1 with the brake reaction bars.
I would personally take a 2 stage approach and fit the BRB's first and see what improvements that make, and then when the front king pins require rebuilding consider the SSL kit if still felt necessary. I've had the SSL kit and BRB's on my Roadster and it didn't feel that much better (other than the option of raising front end by inch) than when I had BRB fitted when I had the front end rebuild using SS kingpins on my 70th 4/4.
