Crowbar ... hopefully the sun is up round your side of the planet by now 🙂

Couple of pics of the aeroscreens .... no crash-padding on the scuttle of my car so your mounting may be a bit different ... I wanted them near the edge and well away from the screen ... mine are bolted through with little CSK stainless bolts ... most seem to use woodscrews into the ash frame under the scuttle which is closer to the windscreen.

I did find both the screens and the mirror moved about at speed on rougher roads so I welded up a little stainless bracket that stabilised the centre of the scuttle by bracing it to the dash (under the lip of the scuttle below the mirror) ... no more problem, solid as a rock.

I love driving about behind the aeroscreens even though it's considerably cooler here than with you!🙂 (but then, I've been a biker all my life) ... have the screen up right now as packing the car for a 650 mile trip with the Mrs so a little more comfort is in order ... the screens with the windshield folded flat looks the biz in my book!

The screens I have are 6.5 inches from the bottom of the frame to the top of the curve of the glass

Ps ... no doubt others can join in with details of how to mount then with screws and with the padding in place
