My AC Cobra has 15 inch rims with 225x60 and 275x55 tyres on which have a good hight of sidewall. The Cobra has a better ride than any of my other cars and you don't need to dodge potholes - the only problem is that only Avon makes decent quality 15 inch tyres now (at a price) and they are road legal intermediates better used in the dry than the wet.
