Just curious about the logic and wisdom of buying almost "sight unseen" (I asked the auctioneers -- viewing is from 09:30 on the day of the auction at Sparkford, and not before). So no chance to see it, hear it, smell it, or drive it. If the hammer price were to be £30K then that would mean taking a £35K punt, hmmm maybe unwise

Anyone on here know the car and/or driven it, maybe when it was at New Elms ? Sounds like a tragic case, bought for £81K then became an Estate Sale a year or so later -- significance of "SL" and "GWL" on a 66 plate ? (Registered Dec 2022 so it would originally have been a 72). And were the expected CX "issues" fixed ?
