This exactly matches my thinking. An old trad suits me perfectly. I like to have a simple (crude?) car that is cheap to run and which I can wholly maintain myself, and I see no need for luxuries (fripperies?) such as come with the CX cars and their ilk.

But to imagine that this is (a) what most owners want, and (b) is what MMC should still be making is just daft. There are more than enough old Morgans already available in the marketplace to suit the likes of me. If MMC see their future in the manufacturing of very special sports cars in the £100k+ bracket then jolly good luck to them. I will look forward to seeing them, though there is no chance of me ever being able to afford to buy one even if I wanted to.
