With a friend we got invited to a Car Tour in China. Initially you had to offer a car over 50 years old, we put two forward. It was heavily subsidised, free transport return. Just had to pay for insurance and accommodation and that was heavily subsidised. Couldn't go in the end as both of us are 70+ and the Chinese wouldn't issue Driving Licences to us. Parts of the Caribbean will only rent to 70+ if you have taken a local medical.
