I am in the process of restoring a 1975 +8 from the ground!
Chassis has been repaired for corrosion, sandblasted, metalized and epoxy painted. So far, so good (I think).
All four wings are steel and in pretty good shape. All Waxoyl is removed and very little rust has to be fixed - no problem. But I wonder if it will be wise of me to fit some kind of protection against dents from the tires. Or is it only a problem with alloy wings?
