Here's the thing. Nobody knows for sure. Climate changes. The biggest villains are volcanoes and asteroids. It's very easy to blame industrialisation and deforestation, and clearly that will have some effects, but predicting the future has never worked out. Look back at all the crazy predictions over the years.
I suspect that wars nullify any greenhouse gas gains we claim by Millibraining the issues. In the end I think that mankind (personkind), will have to ride the waves of change, as mankind has always done.
Yet the sea levels are predicted to rise nearly 7 feet by 2100, certainly where I live is predicted to be under water by 2050. Yet despite all the net zero infrastructure being built, no UK government is really doing anything about rising sea and river levels which will also raise the water table levels. Holland seems to be taking it very seriously, the UK will probably just surrender the land back to the sea. Shame they forgot about all the UK cities based on rivers many tidal which like Manchester/Salford/York etc inundated and flooded in this winters storms. Looks like even non-prime London addresses will all have a river view before too long.
