Good point. You think the job is finished and you drop your concentration, but the risk hasn't gone away.
When I worked with EDF they were obviously extremely safety-conscious and even the office teams had regular safety messages and debriefings. One that I particularly remember was them saying that a common cause of minor accidents was a maintenance worker finishing a job, stepping back, and tripping over their own toolbox.
