When I get around to getting one, I will probably be relegating the front to spare parts and tools, including a shovel.
Also, I'll be adding some webbing thingies to hold some leather straps across (from bottom to top) in the footwell of the passenger side. Not that that will stop any dedicated thief, but it will allow me to place a bag there without fear of some opportunist thieve stealing a bag while I'm away for a couple of minutes.
Depending on the feasability, I will probably add some leather handles on top of the front to be able to lift it off singlehandedly.
I'll be using a lockable wire for the helmet, I think, and depending on whether or not the space aft of the seat rest is usuable, I might be using that for a jacket, leather helmet, first aid kit or something.
