As yours in a 1967 I'm assuming that it's a 1500 Kent Pre crossflow engine? I think the 1600 Crossflow engine wasn't introduced to Morgan until 1968.

However, early Crossflows used the 32DFM so should be fine for yours, even with increased capacity.

I would imagine the carb just needs a good clean/rebuild. Parts are readily available in the UK - https://www.webcon.co.uk/products/8007-32dfm-and-32dfe-service-kit/
