Was thinking that one could use the plug to start with.. it would come off the garage supply so expect 30 amp load.
You can, just need to restrict the charge rate in the vehicle menu to say 13 amps (around 3kW) for safety, and if you have one use an RCD (earth leakage) protected circuit / socket or adaptor
