I sold my +4 through a specialist garage/workshop. But I was expecting to be away quite a lot at the time, which would make it difficult to allow proper viewings etc.
I am happy enough to buy Morgans (and Land Rovers) privately - because I know what I'm looking for. That does not extend to a lot of other marques.
If you are not bothered about tyre kickers and the possibility of people potentially casing your property for nefarious purposes then sell privately. I don't think you'll get many of those while advertising a Morgan (apart form the African etc. scammers if you advertise on line
). AND - you get to use your car in the meantime...
