The classic car specialist nearest to me insist that the weights must go on the outside of the wheel. The wheels are stainless steel and look fantsatic on the car so the last thing I want is to stick a bunch of weights on the outside of them!

So I have now changed my tyres from 195/15/60 to 196/15/65 which I am very happy with.
I had hammer-ons previously but decided to go with stick-ons this time. Looking at the rim profile, I was uncertain the there was enough dead flat area on the outers to ensure the weights would stick long-term. So, went for the inner rims. I stood with my friendly fitters whilst they did the balancing ( using my borrowed cones) and they easily got them down to 0. Driving it since, everything feels perfect.
