My wife has thrown a curve ball and suggested somewhere in Luxembourg! Mondorf les Bain ……seems small but anyone been ?
We could come back and have a night in Rottweil/Villingen * and another filling up with cheap petrol in Mondorf (assuming petrol is still cheap in Lux.)
We tend to blast through the night to Slovenia. Does anyone know a better non toll (until Austria) way, appreciate it but we have found this the best so far :
Le Shuttle late afternoon early eve on a Saturday , to Charleroi, Namur, Lux. Sarrbrucken, Permasens to Landau ( we call this Shoe Alley **) Stuttgart, Munchen , Saltzburg, Villach and into SLO for breakfast or lunch depending on roadworks and Le Shuttle delays .
Best MM * Clemens, likely to be around 7/9th July. Will DM if we decide this is the route home .
** we used to stop on shoe alley - soo many shoe outlets for my wife and a shoe museum for me whilst she shops BUT now due to careful planning by me we pass by in the middle of the night !!
