We used to take soft bags rather than hard cases.

With the boot full the lid needs to stay up as a sensor gets fussy.
The gap between the rear lights is actually a bit narrow so the soft bags sorted this.
The shape is quite difficult due to the mechanism and re brace to keep the car from shaking.

Nearly everyone at SFO rental ended up putting their hard cases on the back seat so they could drop the lid.

A few smaller ones is a better but slightly annoying bet. Which conflicts with the airlines 1-2 bag policy. We carried 2 of them as our carry on bags.


Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
