Yep. I'm not averse to giving my car a going over with polish and wax now and again, but far more important in my view is taking care of the moving bits. An hour spent lubricating bits, checking for tight fasteners, wiping stuff down with ACF50, checking levels and electrical connections etc is worth far more than the same time spent polishing an already clean car.
