Remember flying out to St. Mary's with another syndicate owner in our Cessna 172 early 80's. We took the ferry over to Tresco walking around the beautiful gardens. Just electric vehicles as I recall. Ironically I later bought a new home at Port Solent on the artificial Bryher Island named after same in the Scillies.
