I've had a petrol Hayter 41 for many years. It's still going strong with minimal maintenance. Keep thinking of changing. Both the petrol and battery mowers are about £1k.
I like my stripes on the lawn, although it's a bit sad at the moment, hence having a mower with a roller rather than 4 wheels.
But my lawn is about twice the size of yours.
