Yes this has been known about for quite some time. My 2008 4/4 had exactly the same happen. There are three screws holding the dash in place, one at each side and a less obvious screw high up in the middle. Firstly lower the steering wheel to its very bottom using the small lever up under the dash to its immediate left. Its not possible to replace the tubing without lowering the dashboard. The original cheap rubber quickly perishes and must be disposed of. Replace all this tubing with neoprene fuel tubing of the same or similar bore. This much better tubing is commonly used by model aircraft fuel lines and is not too expensive but is a permanant fix. Leaks must be prevented here at all costs or very expensive damage can be done to the circuitry beneath.
