I have had the car for the last 17 years, since new, and thermostat started to play up end of last year.
She has never over heated, even when I fitted the 90 thermostat, just the fan stayed on.
Even when down in southern Italy last year she never cooked and the fan came less on and off as expected.
Biggest problem I have is trying to get the correct replacement thermostat. I thought it was 90 like the mondeo but maybe that was just a bad thermostat
