After owning a Series 1 3.0 from 2005 and a Series 2 from 2008, both with a nice sound, I later purchased a Series 3 Sports Roadster in 2010. The exhaust was so extremely droning at certain revs that it actually gave me a headache, so I had two new silencers made locally. Your 2011 Roadster could have the same silencers. After that change, it was pleasant.
