Update on pump. Have spent many hours on the net chasing a replacement pump. Morgan have one in stock, priced around £650. BHM were very helpful but no part, then I started trying to buy one online from parts shops in the UK. On the phone to many places, they all want to know the rego number or the VIN, I try to explain that I’m in Australia and Rego means nothing to them but they insist. The VIN doesn’t compute. Some places will not sell me a part if I ask by part number. I have the part number for 5 equivalent pumps and none are available in Australia. Many online shops will not ship to us in the antipodes even if we pay upfront. In the end I became so frustrated I purchased one via a UK eBay site, delivered out of china for £29 plus shipping off £15, I should be able to create a hybrid if it doesn’t fit. I cannot believe the factory can charge so much for a Ford part for a 2.0l Mondeo, mine even has a ford part number on it.
