I never really understood "overriders" of that type. I like the full-width bumpers on my car. When I were a lad, over-riders were attached to standard full-width bumpers to provide a first point of contact and prevent (as the name suggests) one bumper riding over another when two cars had a low-speed contact, such as on my Dad's 1965 Austin A40. (I reckon it was his fault I got into washing and polishing cars, for pocket money in those days smile ). What purpose do they serve on a Mog ?
