My dear daughter Sophia met me at the sailing club one day (birthday actually) and handed me a set of keys. In the car park beside the slipway was a nice cream 4/4 and it was mine for the weekend. That present cost me my nest egg and a little bit more because within a couple of weeks I came across a low mileage one advertised in Swindon. Less than 8k on the clock and like new. Now it has +88k miles on the clock and still runs perfectly. Put new front disc pads on a couple of weeks ago and renewed the coolant. Its taken us to many lovely places over the years. The best without doubt was Chioggia (near Venice). Have gone there twice and can highly recommend it. The Mog was put away in the hotel car park (under cover) and we had no need to drive out anywhere for the times spent there.
