I have a 4/4 with wire wheels these obviously have one large hole in the centre and are much easier to locate. I don't know whether these air wedges might help but I use them to lift household doors when trying to align the hinges with the hinge screw holes and for that they work very well. You can adjust the height of the door in quite fine increments. The pair I have were from Lidlels and as cheap as chips. You can get them if you do a search for Air Wedges on the internet. I am thinking, if you jack the wheel off the ground far enough to get one of these deflated wedges under the tyre and then pump it up to support the wheel weight while removing/replacing. Even these cheap ones have a maximum load of 135 kgs, which in real money is about 21 stone, so they should be capable . They are fairly cheap and might be worth a try.
