I guess my Luddite tendencies were in evidence when the Aero8 first arrived on scene as I was not impressed by the cross eyed look of the headlights, and the flat boot lid, the latter caused me to think that the designers had ran out of ideas or budget when it came time to designing that first rear end closure.
In time I came to appreciate the amount of effort for a small company to have the courage to re-create such a special vehicle harking back to 30`s streamliner era of 30`s design into which the Aero 8 would have fitted perfectly...?
Thus for me the Aero 8 seemed to be a logical forward step in design for a company renown for manufacturing sports cars that reflected a bygone era and which could keep up with or better the pace of their modern-day contemporaries.....
I suspect in the passage of time the various versions of Aero 8`s will likely become far more appreciated as true automotive icons they rightly deserve to be....?
