nice to hear from you again lorne thank you.I took your advice of some time ago and contacted mark adams at tornado .My car was the first of many i suspect to be set up on their new rolling road.I gave them a free reign they found my car to be running very rich...14 -18mpg rich.and only 158bhp.They fitted new injectors, knock sensors and a tornado chip. Now 237bhp and 29mpg on the trip back, its transformed the car,i have also purchased a second hand rovercomlite scanner which mark adams was going to set up for me but i had to register with blackbox in cyprus and they were short staffed that week so i didnt have the relevent codes.I used a cheapo autel maxiscanner set on landrover settings.mark adams is a very nice man and certainly knows his stuff,my car ran great on the 5 hour drive back,he told me that plenty of gunk came out of the exhaust when they set the car up.I filled up with shell petrol, which i cant get on the isle of wight,at portsmouth i didnt overfill but the wretched light came on a couple of days later, code is showing p1447 evap purge valve open or short circuit.I carry david pooles bible in the car so checked the code and it came up the same as the scanner.Car is running great otherwise. Its an old car,i expect glitches i got caught out when i first got the car and had to have it trailered off the island to get it fixed,it was mighty expensive and time consuming.I am certainly no mechanic but being where i am try at least to find whats wrong with the car before risking a trip over the water to get it fixed. There are no decent electrical specialists on the isle of wight,i learnt that at my cost last year
