Anyone else wonder why the Orangutan was praising the Supermarine Bentley for being a 'real car' to drive, when previously criticising Mogs for exactly the same sort of reasons?
Paul, I have no doubt your question was rhetorical because I know you're a clever chap but my personal opinion on Top Gear is that you have to view it as entertainment. They often put the facts to one side for the sake of a cheap laugh. If I am not mistaken, the BBC via Top Gear, are being taken to court by Tesla Motor Company for this very reason.
