There's a chap in our Men's Shed getting both knees done within one week. I wouldn't have thought that they would do both so close in time.
I had a relatively fit BIL just a couple of years younger than myself have both knees replaced together whilst into his 70's. He really suffered for several months. Later discovered it was a hip replacement that was needed as he'd claimed all along. Now walks fine.
