That's my intention, getting reasonable insurance quotes, even quotes at all, is proving interesting, it's basically a stage 1 Harley with a few shinny bits replaced and paint.....but the list of like for like accessory changes, are too many for many insurers, even though it was done from new by a workshop
. I was expecting a sizeable insurance premium but already some are 3 times over the quote for it as a standard stage 1 Harley....I suppose that's the price of art. I can see why it was a static display for a long time............such is life.
I managed to get mine insured for £140TPFT which I thought was reasonable as I didn't have any NCB to use (I've used it on the other one).
Can't see the point in Fully Comp as I do all the work myself and nothing is that expensive.
