Roadster. No question. They are close on the road, but the GDI is bouncier, and the throttle is too sensitive so it takes effort. Whereas the Roadster is very easy on all counts. But it's only like a 5% margin. GDI is almost as fast on normal country roads, and looks amazing, even after ten years. The Getrag box on the Roadster is also more user friendly than the MX5 box.
