In 2016, I bought a Morgan Three-Wheeler.
I named it “Comet”, after the De Havilland DH.88 Comet.
The vehicle itself was many things: ridiculously fun to drive, raw, direct, loud, exhilarating, thrilling, uncompromising, alive, and capable of turning even the shortest journey into an adventure. It never failed to put a smile on my face – whether I was driving it alone, or even more so when sharing the experience with Olivera. For us, Mr. and Mrs. Comet, it became much more than just a machine. But what am I telling you!? You know exactly what I am talking about.
Over the past ten years, our Morgan became something else entirely – and something far more important than I could ever have expected or imagined.
It brought people into our lives. All sorts of people. Wonderful people. Genuine people. People who left a lasting impression on our hearts through friendship, trust, laughter, conversations, and shared experiences. Some of them have sadly left us far too soon, but their presence remains.
For me, one person in particular stands out. Rxxé continues to travel with us, in memories, in stories, and in a form that words can hardly describe.
A few months ago, I decided to put Comet up for sale. And today, I handed over the keys.
It has gone to a very good home, and I sincerely wish its new owner the same joy, adventures, friendships, and unforgettable moments that this remarkable machine gave us.
The memories will stay with us forever. As a motorhead, I firmly believe that every vehicle – be it a car, a motorcycle, a Three-Wheeler – has its perfect time and its perfect place in our lives. The Morgan had its time in mine, and what a wonderful time it was.
Now it is time to say goodbye. I have no regrets. Not a single one.
To everyone we met along the way: thank you. Thank you for the conversations, the laughter, the roadside chats, the gatherings, the friendships, and the moments we shared. You made this journey what it was.
I wish you all the very best.
We are still and will always be on the roads. So perhaps our paths will cross again. Maybe we'll meet at a café, wave as we pass in opposite directions, or perhaps you'll spot us overtaking you somewhere on a beautiful stretch of road.

Forever Mr. and Mrs. Comet
