This might not be a fault issue as such. Morgan fuel gauges are known for their quirky readings.
On our Plus Six if you fill it to maximum it will take approx 75 miles ( depending on driving speeds ) before it starts to show on the gauge, until that point it will show as full. The gauge then drops fairly quickly and seems to be true to used fuel at about 3/4 tank level, it then gets a little unreliable again around the 1/3 rd fuel remaini level.

To get around the inaccurate fuel gauge we zero the milage trip at a full refill , then look to refill again around 200 miles later.
