Sorry, down in deepest france, so sneaking away to read TM.😁 when I mentioned copper slip its actually the aluminium version, so no copper its aluminium in it.
I see on yr photos the alloy is bare in the area of the lower filter plate, on our six its all covered in a thick layer of factory applied black underseal, bolts and all , the undertrays , side under wing protectors aft of the filter area and main side chassis area and jacking points have it, I keep it topped up on its yearly inspection. The front and rear suspension areas are covered each year with lanoguard, as is the rear diff and its mountings. No corrosion showing after 6 years.
