Well said Richard.As someone who is being kept alive by the ongoing work of Leukaemia Research (relating to the treatment regime of my rare blood cancer), was given pensions advice by MacMillan and is continuing to be supported by two smaller blood cancer charities.
They may have failings, but for some of us, they are literally life savers.
I will be going for my first dose of chemo on Friday for my newly diagnosed AML. If I heard correctly, I have to have 7 injections in 7 days to starrt with. I'll have to get a booster at least once a month for the duration of my life. Ho Hum!
